Most items ship in 3 to 5 business days. Anything personalized takes 7 to 10, because I cut it after you order it. If a piece is running longer than that, it says so on its product page.
On the items that offer it, yes — there's a field on the product page for the text. Type it exactly as you want it cut, including capitals and punctuation. I cut what you type.
Mostly black walnut, cherry and red cedar, plus Baltic birch plywood where a piece needs to be stable rather than pretty. Every product page lists the species for that piece.
Hand wash, dry it standing on edge, and rub in food-grade mineral oil when it starts looking dry — roughly monthly at first, then a few times a year. Never put it in the dishwasher; it will crack.
Yes, that's most of what I do. Send me the details on the custom orders page and I'll come back with a price and a timeline before anything gets cut.
Stock pieces, yes — 30 days, unused, and I'll refund the item. Personalized pieces I can't resell, so those are only refunded if I got something wrong or it arrived damaged. Send me a photo and I'll sort it.
No. Grain, colour and figure vary board to board, and that's the point. The photos show a representative piece, not the exact one you'll receive.
