Black walnut, milled flat and finished food-safe, with your family name and year laser-engraved into one corner. The edges are left soft and slightly irregular rather than squared off, so the board keeps the shape the tree gave it.
Roughly 12 by 18 inches and a shade over three quarters of an inch thick — heavy enough to stay put while you work, light enough to carry to the table with a cheese board on it.
Grain and colour vary board to board. The photographs show a representative piece, not the exact one you will receive.
Hand wash, dry on edge, and re-oil with food-grade mineral oil when it starts looking dry. Never the dishwasher.
Stock gets milled flat, cut to size, then carved or engraved on the CNC or the laser depending on what the piece needs. Edges are eased by hand, sanded to 220, and finished food-safe where it matters.

Stock pieces can come back within 30 days, unused, for a refund of the item. Personalized pieces cannot be resold, so those are only refunded if I got something wrong or it arrived damaged.
